A New Blog for A New Life

I'm not quite sure why people like me feel compelled to put out into the universe our daily dose of irrelevant rhetoric. Digital Broadcasting is, as many have said before me, the most ego centric thing my generation does.  Tweets, Facebook, Google+, Blogs.... we're are in a rather constant state of our own media circus, aren't we? Well, far be it for me to venture too far from the ego elite - and henceforth bring to you (the world) the unnecessary ramblings of a woman past thirty years of age.

This photo of mine = my last two months... metaphorically of course.
So - why a new blog and why now? Very good question, jolly good show old chap. Having just lost my job and - nearly - my mind... I find myself in a bit of pickle.  I've played the Bridget Jones scene to death in my life - loud music, the dance with old vices, the complete loss of momentum.  Yes, I'm saying it now - I've died in the last two months.  Well - not literally of course - but in that way that dramatic writing allows... dead.  Gone. Bottoms up.  I've only just this morning written a letter to the last chapter of an old life.  And he will be less than happy to read it, I'm sure.  Ah, but it opens the door to a new life - and hopefully, new opportunities. A New Life!

I have grown very tired of ducking a target.  Tactical changes need apply now - a shift from the defensive, to the offensive.  A seize of control in my day to day so to speak. I am waiting patiently for the smiles to take root and mean more.  For the laughter to roll from my funny bone on down to my heart. But I am not the tide and am not swayed only by the position of the moon nor the opinion of anyone else.  I am me. I set my own rhythm when I so choose. Come with me as I, at thirty two years of age, become a better version of me.
